How to force the phone to vibrate

Hello, in this article we will be talking about how to make your device vibrate programmatically using Kodular. Let’s get started.

Description: User inputs the number of milliseconds the phone should vibrate and on the click of a button it executes that command.

1. Designer

First, go to and create a new project. We will call this one the VibratingSoul.

Click Next and Finish.

Once you are in the designer, drag and drop a textbox and a button.

Now, add the Sound component.

2. Blocks

Once down, head to the block section.

Get the Button1.Click block.

Drag and drop it to the block area, and add the Sound1.Vibrate block with the millisecond value TextBox1.Text.

The end block should look like this:

That’s it! You have a vibrating app.

Remember: 1 second = 1000 milliseconds
